Content & Community Guidelines

These Guidelines keep MeloAI a creative and safe place. They apply to everything you generate, upload, publish, or share on the Service — tracks, lyrics, titles, artwork, profiles, comments, and event entries — and form part of our Terms of Service. Breaking them can lead to content removal or account action.

• Do not submit lyrics, melodies, or recordings you do not have the right to use.
• Do not try to recreate a specific copyrighted song or an artist's catalogue.
• Do not upload reference audio you do not own or have permission to use.

Do not attempt to imitate a real, identifiable person's voice, name, or likeness in a misleading way or without their permission. Do not present AI-generated music as if it were officially created or endorsed by a real artist when it is not, on MeloAI or when you share it elsewhere. Do not impersonate MeloAI staff, moderators, or partners. Do not remove or falsify AI-content labels where a platform or the law requires them.

Do not create, upload, or share content that:

• is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity, in the markets where the Service operates;
• sexualises minors in any way, or exploits or endangers children;
• is pornographic or graphically sexually explicit (adult themes in lyrics are allowed within these rules and applicable law);
• incites hatred, harassment, or violence against people based on protected characteristics, including ethnicity or religion;
• contains credible threats, promotes terrorism, or glorifies self-harm;
• is deceptive, fraudulent, or designed to scam others;
• deliberately spreads harmful misinformation, including about elections or civic processes; or
• infringes the privacy of others or exposes their personal information.

The Service operates across several countries. Content lawful in one market can be unlawful in another; where the law of a market we serve requires it, we may remove content or restrict its visibility in that market.

• Do not spam, artificially inflate plays, likes, votes, or followers, or manipulate rankings, charts, or event results.
• Do not use bots or scrapers, or attempt to bypass credit limits, payment, or security controls.
• Do not fraudulently interact with advertising (for example, automated or incentivised ad clicks).
• Do not resell or redistribute access to the Service without our permission.
• Do not operate multiple accounts to evade enforcement, rig votes, or farm rewards.

Publishing makes your track part of what every listener sees. When you publish:

• use honest titles, genres, and descriptions — no bait metadata or keyword stuffing;
• do not flood the feed with near-duplicate generations; keep drafts private;
• make sure artwork and lyrics you attach follow these Guidelines.

We may curate what surfaces in discovery (trending, mixes, reels, stations), reduce the reach of low-quality or borderline content, and unpublish content that breaks these rules.

We may review reported content and take action we consider appropriate — including removing content, limiting reach or features, removing event entries or prizes, or suspending or terminating accounts. For serious harms (such as child-safety violations) we act immediately and may report to the relevant authorities.

If you believe we got a decision wrong, reply to the notice you received or contact [email protected]; where an appeal path is available we will tell you the outcome of the review.
